Agile on the Green: History in the Making

Agile on the Green has become the premier golf charity for Atlanta’s technology community. The event was started in 2004 by Tricia Dempsey, a seven-year breast cancer survivor and the CEO of Agile, one of the region’s fastest growing IT staffing and consulting firms.

Both professionally and personally, Tricia is known for her ability to connect people.  With Agile on the Green, she has brought together top technology VIPs from across the region and given them a great cause to rally around. Each year, the event focuses on raising awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer. By pairing local technology VIPs with corporate sponsors, Agile on the Green has already raised more than $100,000 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.

Tricia actually founded Agile while undergoing cancer treatment in 2003. Since then, Tricia has been given a clean bill of health, and Agile has grown to become one of the most respected IT staffing and consulting firms in the Southeast. With a unique approach to technology recruiting, Agile gives technology leaders a faster, more effective way to find superior talent. Agile’s “speed your time to talent” approach guarantees superior performers.

The Komen Foundation: Racing for the Cure

Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Atlanta Affiliate serves as a local resource for those seeking opportunities for breast cancer screening, treatment and support. Through annual events, such as Agile on the Green and the Race for the Cure, Komen Atlanta raises funds to support breast cancer outreach projects and programs.
